Caroline & Christian's Wedding

Caroline & Christian's Bury Court Barn wedding was the perfect balance of laid back, fun and authentic, with a huge party at the end!

The day started with disaster as the couple's dog managed to escape the venue and the search party began. After an hour of frantic searching, the dog was eventually found over a mile away at a nearby farm after the farmer called the venue.

Meanwhile, completely unaware, Caroline was having an epic time with her bridesmaids in the morning, followed by an emotional reveal to her father once she was in the dress.

After the ceremony, the couple had photos with their dog, Caroline was informed of the morning's chaos and the guests had drinks outside in the perfect March sunshine,

The evening is where things really got interesting, and that came down to one thing - beer pong. I've never seen this at a wedding before but now I know every wedding needs it. The beer pong was front and center of the evening drinks so at some points, the majority of the couple's friends and family were gathered around the beer pong table as things got competitive. The bride and groom had a game between them and this upbeat, ecstatic vibe just continued through the evening.

The evening continued with one of the best sunsets I've seen since I started doing this job, and we made the most of it. Caroline and Christian's sunset shots were epic and they were suitably merry to make them super comfortable and giggly on camera too.

Finally, the night ended with a super packed dance floor and some rogue songs that don't usually get played at weddings, but they obviously knew their audience because the dance floor didn't clear out after the first dance, things only got better!
