I'm a Southampton-based wedding videographer, traveller, creative, but most importantly, a husband and a father to my daughter Addison. I work across Hampshire and beyond, and I feel super privileged to be recommended videographer at Avington. I became self employed to avoid going back to the same place to work every day, but if I could film here every day of the year, I definitely would! The light through those cedar trees, the intimacy of the grounds, the warmth of the orangery - it's a filmmaker's dream.
My approach is to be the relaxed, calming presence when you need it, and the professional hype man and bundle of energy when the moment comes. I don't take things too seriously, and think weddings should be a positive celebration of joy. Think of me less like a hired supplier and more like a calm, creative friend with a camera. Someone who steps in to hype you up when you need it, and fades into the background when the real moments are happening.

While a wedding is all about the moments, I always try to bring more value to your wedding day. Champagne sprays, bridal party singalongs and fresh ideas when it's needed, but a calm reassuring presence when the moment calls for it.
At the heart of it, I capture real moments and edit them together into a beautiful masterpiece, but that doesn't mean it has to be boring. I lean into moments that make you smile, will always include the laugh-out-loud speeches, and the things that might not have gone to plan.
You might not realise it, but from the consultation call, to the pre-wedding call and throughout the wedding day, I'm constructing a picture of your story that I can weave into the film, so every film is built for you, and tailored to who you are at your core.

The sweeping lawns and open grounds at Avington give me room to work — wide establishing shots, big group moments, confetti tunnels that actually have space to breathe. It's the kind of setting where the camera never feels cramped.

The orangery is honestly a dream to film in. Floods of natural light, clean sightlines, and that warmth — it makes everything feel soft and beautiful without needing to add a thing. The wedding breakfasts in there always look incredible on camera.

That Boat!
It's not often in the UK that you get the opportunity to go for a boat trip after your ceremony. The boat is very 'Avington' and something that will give you the opportunity to relax and chat, will impress your guests and as a bonus, makes for awesome wedding footage.

Multiple Ceremony Spaces
Indoor or outdoor, Avington gives you plenty of ceremony options — and every one of them films beautifully. The Orangery, the front of the house or under the tree — each space has its own feel and its own magic.

The Perfect Golden Hour Spot
Avington sunsets are some of the best I've seen, and the proof is in these screenshots. The sun sets perfectly behind the Orangery, meaning a short walk up to some long grass gets you perfectly placed for some golden hour goodness. Some couples even stay here for a bit afterwards, as you can turn and watch your guests from the hill to take it all in. I fully recommend that too!

Perfect for the Drone
Open skies, a stunning house, the river, the valley — Avington from above is genuinely breathtaking. Drone footage here adds a whole other dimension to the film, and I hold all the licences to fly here legally and safely.

Avington Park sits in the heart of Hampshire, just outside Winchester — and as the venue's recommended videographer, I know these grounds inside out. I'm based in Southampton, so Avington is super local to me.
I film weddings across Hampshire, the UK and abroad, with no additional travel costs for most locations in the South of England. Whether you're local or travelling in from further afield, getting to me — or me to you — is never a problem.
