As the recommended wedding videographer at Lulworth Castle, this venue never fails to amaze me - from that initial drive in and seeing the castle emerge past the trees, to the large spaces inside that have incredibly high ceilings due to the removed floors - it's just so special. I think it's the perfect place to get married, and it makes for a great backdrop for a perfect wedding film too - the natural light is amazing, the huge lawn opens up space for your guests to spread out and enjoy themselves, and the proximity to Lulworth Cove means you can even pop down there for some photos and videos too. If you're getting married here, I'd love to be there, and if you see my jaw hit the floor on the wedding day, I'm probably just getting too excited about what I'm capturing!

I'm Chris, and I'm wedding videographer, traveller, creative, but most importantly, a husband and a father to my daughter Addison. I work all around the UK and abroad, and it's honestly a joy every time I get to come back to Lulworth Castle. I shot my first wedding there in 2018 and now I'm over the moon to be the recommended videographer at this incredible venue.
My approach is to be the relaxed, calming presence when you need it, and the professional hype man and bundle of energy when the moment comes. I don't take things too seriously, and think weddings should be a positive celebration of joy. Think of me less like a hired supplier and more like a calm, creative friend with a camera. Someone who steps in to hype you up when you need it, and fades into the background when the real moments are happening.
The main gist of my approach is this - I think weddings should be a positive celebration of joy, and all things you. So while I capture the big moments, what I look for everyday is the small, fleeting moments between you, your friends and your family that you might miss, because I believe that's what you'll appreciate.
I wrap that all into a film that's bright, joyful, epic and truly you - I absolutely don't template films and hopefully you can see that in the variety on my site.

I know when to blend in and when to step out - Capturing authentic, honest moments is about being calm and making everyone feel comfortable, but I also love to lean into champagne sprays, running at sunset, cold sparks and anything that looks awesome and feels fun.
How many slow, overly serious films have you seen on the way here? There's always going to be emotion in my films, and they'll always look amazing, but they'll always feel as happy and bright as a wedding day should.
Nothing here is templated and no two films should look the same - your relationship and your wedding day has it's own unique feel, it's own personality, and I do everything I can to mirror that in your films.

The large indoor spaces really stand out for me about Lulworth Castle - they're flexible, bright and will have your guests amazed from the moment they walk in. This isn't a dark and damp castle, it has a positive, warm energy to it.

Not many people can say they got married at a castle. The drone shots, you two on the front steps sharing a moment, your guests exploring the venue for the first time - these are the moments I love at Lulworth Castle.

Both of the large rooms in this castle are super flexible - I've seen the wedding breakfast and the party in both rooms and they both offer something completely unique depending on the vibe you're after.

Whether you're getting ready at Lulworth Cove before the wedding, or fancy a change of scenery in the evening, it's a beautiful part of the country and one of my favourite places to go for a walk, so I love shooting couple moments or moments between friends here.

Lulworth Castle is situated in East Lulworth in Dorset, between Poole & Weymouth. I'm based in Hampshire, next to Dorset, so Lulworth is really local to me!
